Reference Page
- Do you appear unprepared at interviews?
- Do you neglect to offer references?
- Do you know how to present your references effectively?
“Candidates who come to meetings without a list of references appear unprepared and uninterested in the job.”
Sharon Graham, Canada's Career Strategist
Your Reference Page is a mandatory job search document. During the interview process, you will be asked for a list of references. This list needs to be a marketing tool to help recruiters to connect with your very best references. GMG will provide you with a branded reference page document outlining all the information you need to present. Supply your reference list when you close the interview to express your continued interest in your dream job.
With a Reference Page prepared by GMG, you will:
- Come to every interview prepared to offer your references
- Further strengthen your position by offering another branded document
- Influence potential interviewers to call your best references
- Ensure that you prepare your references before recruiters call
- Show your continued interest at the close of the interview
As with all of the GMG documents in your portfolio, your reference page will go through a two-step quality review and proofing process. A second certified resume strategist and writer will independently validate and edit the document to ensure that you receive an impeccable draft. In most cases, GMG’s draft documents are so strong that they are approved without any changes at all.
You will receive your document in Microsoft Word format and you can enter appropriate references as required throughout your job search process.
